An earful
I made a cartoon ear for my full-size figure. VERY difficult. But I'm happy with the way the left one turned out.
Kenny, the ear looks great, and I know from experience that it is always hard trying to get the ears to match. One thing to consider, as I have run into this problem. The problem with big ears such as the the one pictured is that because it is very large, and deep, if you are planning on making a Silicone rubber Mold to make casts with, those ears are going to give you some trouble. From all the molds and cast heads I have made so far, I have found it much easier to make a mold when the ears are a bit closer to the head and not so deep. Just a thought before you get too far. Dan
Kenny, this face looks great and very funny. I'm very excited to know more about the process of sculpting, painting and so on. Thanks for your great blog. Burkhard from Germany
