Thrift store treasure

I don't get a ton of repair work (though I'd love to get more... hint, hint). However my friend Randy swung by on his way to Tacoma to drop off his Jerry Layne figure for fixin'. Randy found this figure in a San Francisco thrift store for $62. Great score! The side-to-side eyes need to be repaired and the jaw sticks sometimes. It's a wonderful figure, don't you think?

Wow, that's wonderful, Kenny! Don't care so much for the wig, but the face is lovely!

  2. wow. for $62 bucks....that is a real steal. amazing deal. Once you get done fixin' him up, he's gonna have a pro dummy with very little money invested. That's terrific!!

  3. WOW, what a deal/steal! I'm always scouring thrift stores, auctions, and so forth, looking for that ever elusive ventriloquial deal, and then I read things like this. I'm jealous. But congratulations to Randy just the same.
