The A-List

I've listed my newest little fella on the Marketplace page on Ventriloquist Central. When you get a chance, take a peek. Steve Hurst and Dan Willinger have a lot of great looking figures listed there all looking for homes. And of course, my pint-sized pal is for sale, too.

  1. I've noticed your Elmore figures' two front teeth. The Elmore head is avalable at Braylu.com Does the head cast there have the teeth or do you add them in yourself?

  2. I add the teeth to the Elmore head. I think they make him look goofier.

  3. I agree. One more question... I haven't made a figure yet. I'm thinking of buying the Elmore head from Braylu and also get the parts. I've noticed to instal the mechanics, you'll need to cut a hole in the back of the head. Any tips for a first-time figure maker?

  4. I secure the head in a vice. Not too tight or the plastic will break. I use a cloth in the vice to keep from scratching the neck. I use a hack saw and cut straight down from the top of the head to the nape of the neck, just behind the ears. Careful not to nick the ears, though a little Magic-Sculpt will fix that if you do. You'll likely need to do some fill on the casting anyway. If you have a band saw, that works, too. Just watch your fingers!
